Invitations Sculpture, Object, Installation Painting Alumni club Intermedia Design ArtD./PhD. Studio Glass Photography and New Media Digital Arts Printmaking and Other Media Studio of Ceramics

Vox Loci cordially invites you to the opening of this exhibition, which will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 14:00 to 22:00 at Ventúrska 4 in Bratislava, in the unused building of the City House of Resistance Participants. The exhibition will run until September 20, 2025, and will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, always from 14:00 to 20:00.

Being an artist today means creating amid a hyper-visual avalanche of images, technologies, and the constant shocks of crises. Can one even breathe in that?

The exhibition DISASTER — Basic Safety Measures in the Ruins brings answers that don’t wait for permission to be heard. And perhaps also a chilling silence in which the questions ask themselves.

    • 12 Sep 2025 — FIÚ: performative-dance poetry reading
      • discussion with philosophers on the topic: “Who are we, what should we believe, and what should we strive for in the era of the shifting sands of today’s world.”
    • 17 Sep 2025 — discussion “Creativity 2.0: Art in the Age of Artificial Intelligence — on opportunities, risks, and new creative strategies.”
    • Interactive theatre (date to be announced): a participatory site-specific production that turns the audience into co-authors of the story.
