About the exhibition:
The name of the exhibition TOGETHER refers to the joint 30-year work of teacher and students, as well as to the long-term tradition of TOGETHER studio work with practice.
The results of collaboration with important partners from Slovakia and the Czech Republic are represented by the products exhibited at the SPOLU (TOGETHER) exhibition. The industrial design studio presents a series of chairs that were born thanks to the cooperation with the TON company, and a collection of cutlery that was created under the auspices of the Austrian-Slovak company Berndorf Sandrik. The exhibition also includes the CINK and CUCEJ projects, which were created in collaboration with the AFAD Ceramics Studio and Markéta Nováková.
The industrial design studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design Bratislava has long been considered a key representative of the creative space, whose main focus is cooperation with the corporate environment. Intensive cooperation with domestic and foreign manufacturers, institutions and organizations provides students with irreplaceable experience for their future development and work as a professional designer. Most semester papers reflect specific projects for specific companies, but the studio also deals with societal topics of a humanitarian and ecological nature with the aim of helping, informing or educating.
Presented projects:
- Upcycling and CHAIRs for TON
- CUTLERY for Berndorf Sandrik
- Cink – porcelain speakers
- Cucej - Bath glasses
