Jana Vaterková awarded at Zlín Design Week

Intersecting

is a collection which is a continuation of her diploma thesis from the AFAD entitled Puder.

"I elevate designer textiles through a collection of utilitarian objects that are represented in textile creation through tapestries, carpets and clothing. Utility objects show quality in the choice of material and craftsmanship, they are designed to create a symbiosis between the space and the wearer."

"Intersecting - A very successful collection. I appreciate Jana's overlap and connection of other design disciplines, not only those related to clothing, such as textiles and glass. At the same time, the entire work preserves uniformity, simplicity, the idea of quality design and craftsmanship.
