The mentioned book deals with white spaces of Slovak alternative art, which have not been sufficiently processed in domestic theoretical works so far. The book contains extensive, detailed research and documentation of the topic of action art in Slovakia in the 60s and 70s of the 20th century.

The author researches and analyzes the origin and development of alternative tendencies, while analyzing the works of artists such as Peter Bartoš, Július Koller, Alex Mlynárčik, Vladimír Popovič, Jana Želibská and Milan Adamčiak. It is not only a unique accurate documentation of Slovak action art, but also an analysis of the situation in culture in the former Czechoslovakia in the turbulent 60s, in which socio-political conditions directly influenced the formation of alternative and unofficial art. The book also contains comparative studies with "Western" action art (Allan Kaprow, Wolf Vostell, etc.)
