About the lecture

The lecture focuses on the beginnings of ecologically oriented art in the Slovak environment. In pictorial examples and verbal commentary, he will present various forms of environmentally engaged art in Slovakia. It will mainly focus on the reflection of its forms in the 70s of the 20th century, against the background of the worldwide increase in interest in the topics of sustainability and ecology. The presentation will present the work of the following authors: Rudolf Sikora, Michal Kern and Petr Bartoš.
