The Biela Kocka award for the JAMA festival

On Monday, October 2, 2023, the Council of Galleries of Slovakia announced the winning projects of the 7th year of the BIELA KOCKA award for 2022. Congratulations to our colleague, Fero Király, co-organizer of the intermedia festival JAMA - the 76th year of Milan Adamčiak, who was awarded in the Independent project category.

Awardees: Fero Király and Eva Vozárová

INDEPENDENT PROJECT - JAMA, 76th edition of Milan Adamčiak; an intermedia art event realized by the association ooo JAMA in Banská Štiavnica

"JAMA goes beyond the scope of a classically perceived cultural event. Rather than a place where those who create the program meet those who have come to see it, it is a place for dialogue and joint research. JAMA follows the theme of the interaction of artists from various fields with other people, but especially with the changing world in which we live. It is a time spent together that can - and should - look different every year, because the time-space in which it takes place is also different every year."
