Registration for a summer additional internship abroad
Dear students, The International Office of AFAD reminds you of the possibility to sign up for a summer additional internship abroad and apply for a grant under the Erasmus+ program.
Basic Information
The supplementary traineeship can be completed during the summer months (June–August), and upon successful completion you will receive 5 ECTS credits.
The Erasmus+ grant for a traineeship ranges from EUR 700 to 824 per month (depending on the destination country). In addition to the basic grant, students automatically receive a travel contribution.
In addition to the basic grant, it is possible to apply for an increase if:
- you travel to your mobility using so-called green transport (train, bus);
- you are a recipient of a social scholarship;
- you hold a disability card;
- you have a chronic medical or psychiatric condition.
How to apply for a traineeship?

- Send the fully completed application form by 15 May 2026 to sovcikova(a)vsvu.sk
After submitting your application, we will inform you whether your traineeship application has been approved and provide you with further instructions.
Who is the supplementary traineeship intended for?
- Students of all study programmes in the 2nd and 3rd year of Bachelor’s studies, 1st year of Master’s studies, and doctoral candidates.
Traineeship conditions:
- Minimum duration: 8 weeks
- Minimum workload: 25 hours per week
