At the gala held on November 7 at Prague's Forum Karlín, the winner, finalists, and other honorees of the 9th annual Czech Architecture Prize, organized by the Czech Chamber of Architects, were announced. This year, the seven-member international jury selected the Karlovy Vary Concert Hall, designed by Petr Hájek, Nikoleta Slováková, and Martin Stoss from the studio Petr Hájek ARCHITEKTI, as the masterpiece of Czech architecture. Alongside the winning project, five additional finalists were honored from a pool of 307 submissions and 31 nominations: the UMPRUM Technology Center, the Řevnice Sports Hall, the Adapted Grain Silo, the House Renovation in Kutná Hora, and the Technical Services Base in Prague's Lysolaje district. An honorable mention was awarded to the Garden Pavilion, a modern interpretation of a garden colony hut.
The international jury, led by Greek architect Alexandros Vaitsos, also included Swiss architect Doris Wälchli, British landscape architect Neil Porter, Austrian architect and urban planner Silja Tillner, Slovak architect Peter Moravčík, Italian architect and critic Adriana Granato, and Lithuanian architect and lecturer Andrius Ropolas.
