OPEN CALL pre študentstvo VŠVU: dizajn merchu pre EUBA

The International Relations Centre of the University of Economics in Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as EUBA) wants to address students of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, looking for innovative and visually appealing merchandise designs to welcome incoming students from abroad as part of the Erasmus+ program.


  • Create a graphic element or a graphically processed slogan for t-shirts and tote bags that popularizes internationalization in the university environment. We welcome designs in various graphic forms, including lettering, illustration, comics, photography, typography, etc.

Target group:

  • Incoming foreign students from all over the world (approximately 500 students per year).

Key words expressing the message:

  • (Cultural, international) experience, Erasmus+, before & after, mobility, EUBA, quality, study, research, networking, career opportunities


  • A contemporary and attractive visual for young people

3 logos must also be displayed on the T-shirt / bag:

  • EUBA (University of Economics in Bratislava)
  • AACSB (Association for the support of universities in the field of business - international accreditation)
  • Erasmus+  

Note: Logos can be incorporated into the visual.


  • With an expected production of thousands of pieces, your design will become a permanent symbol of EUBA with the potential of many years of use.
  • The intention is to create a long-term partnership with the designer, which will lead to further contributions to our merchandise series.

Proposal format:

Submit the proposal in multi-page PDF format, A4 landscape

The PDF must contain:

  • On the 1st page: a separate graphic element (lettering, illustration, comic, etc.), a short explanatory annotation (max. 280 characters, including spaces) for the proposal
  • On other pages: mock-ups of t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags with designed graphic elements

The name of the PDF file must be in the format Name_Surname_sutazEUBA.pdf

  • Evaluation: February 2024

Financial reward:

  • 1st place: €500

  • 2nd place: €300

  • 3rd place: €200
