The International Office of AFAD offers you of the opportunity to apply for an international internship abroad during the winter semester 2025/26 and to apply for a grant under the Erasmus+ programme.

Grant

  • A semester-long internship serves as a full replacement for studio courses, and you will receive 20 credits for completing it. The Erasmus+ grant for a traineeship ranges from EUR 700 to EUR 824 per month, depending on the destination country.
  • In addition to the basic grant, you may apply for additional financial support if:
    • you travel to your mobility destination using green transport, such as by train or bus;
    • you receive a social scholarship;
    • you hold a disability card;
    • you have a chronic medical or psychiatric condition.

Who is eligible for a semester-long internship in the winter semester?

  • Students in all fields of study who are in the 3rd or 4th year of a bachelor’s degree programme, students in the 1st year of a master’s degree programme, and doctoral students

Internship requirements:

  • The minimum duration of a semester-long internship is 2 months.
  • The minimum workload is 25 hours per week.
  • The internship must be completed during the semester.

  2. Send the completed application form by 15 August 2026 to sovcikova@vsvu.sk or submit it in person to the VŠVU International Office.
