Additional bachelor admissions for Studio of Glass
If you did not manage to submit your application on time and would like to study in the Studio of Glass at the AFAD, you can still apply until May 23, 2023!
Bachelor's studies in the specialisation GLASS are mainly based on regular consultations with teachers, on the interconnection of philosophy and technology in the design and creation of semester assignments. Students will gradually become familiar - theoretically and practically - with all basic glass technologies (grinding, melting, blowing and metallurgical processing of glass, painting, etc.) and will also gain a general overview of the history of art and design (especially the history of free and designer glass work) . At the same time, they have workshops and professional help available, since last year the studio also has its own glass furnace right at the school premises. Studying in the Studio of Glass reflects current trends in the field of applied glass art and design. At the same time, it is flexible enough so that it does not limit students, but rather helps them in finding their own artistic style.

An application for additional admission process for the study program can be submitted by an applicant who did not pass the admission process for the Applied Art study program on the regular date.
After sending the electronic application latest on May 23, 2023, you will then print it, sign it and send it to our address together with all the necessary attachments, no later than May 24, 2023. Subsequently after submitting the electronic application in the period from May 30, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until June 1, 2023 at 8:00 a.m., the applicant inserts via the website: https://ulozisko.vsvu.sk/ digital version of portfolio with all required parts or tasks and; access data and instructions will be sent to the email addresses listed in the application no later than May 30, 2023 by 12:00 p.m.
1st round – June 5 – 7, 2023 – the admissions committee will meet and assess the homework sent by June 1, 2023 to https://ulozisko.vsvu.sk
2nd round – June 26 – 27, 2023 takes place face-to-face and lasts two days
