Michaela Rapavá: Finding Lines

Michaela Rapavá symbolically crosses the borders between object, drawing and recording of the action. By merging the elements of these three media-specific frameworks she produces two-dimensional sculpture of dynamics of the human body with the coal on plasterboard surfaces. The traces of coal are processual, born through the bodily meditation and they remain in the unfinished state intentionally. Seemingly absent body, which is a conceptual key of her works, is made present through imaginary chronological narratives.
