Guided tour of the exhibition Even before you say it

We invite you to a guided tour of the exhibition Even Before You Say It, which will be personally guided by the author Simona Gottierová in a dialogue with the curator Lucie Gregorova Stach. Together they will present the contexts, processes and collaborations that have shaped this intermedia project. The guided tour will take place during the last day of the exhibition, Thursday 10 July at 5pm.

MEDIUM Gallery, Hviezdoslav Square 18, Bratislava

Annotation

The exhibition is not a traditional installation, but a sensually layered environment that emerges from silence, thought, breath, movement, feeling, material and attention. Here, Gottierová develops her concept of emergence - a creative process without end, in which works are made not to be definitive, but because they want to become.

During the first four days of the exhibition, the project included a live performance realized in collaboration with performer Sabina Bočková, musician Adela Mede, composer Jakub Smiček and architect Juraj Gábor. This magical fleeting event, which inherently belongs to the project, is commemorated by the screening of an audiovisual recording. Video-objects of the artist - introspective works that develop her poetics of movement, physicality and changeability, at the same time the permeability of boundaries, inner space and the trembling becoming - have been added to the exhibition ensemble.

Take a peek into the artist's process and join in thinking together about the exhibition as a space of sharing, of subtlety, of bodily and mental presence, and of the poetry of signifying delay: before we say it.
