Presentation of the New Film: AFAD and Ukraine
We invite the academic community of AFAD to a school screening and discussion of our new film entitled AFAD and Ukraine, created in collaboration with director Soňa Maletz.

In April of this year, a delegation of 12 academic and non-academic staff members of AFAD, together with a film crew, visited three partner schools in Ukraine – in Uzhhorod, Kyiv, and Lviv. During this trip, a film was created documenting the current situation at art universities in Ukraine, as well as the everyday life of our colleagues and students in the context of the ongoing war.
Following the screening, a discussion will take place with:
- Bohunka Koklesová, Rector of AFAD and participant in the visit;
- Norbert Lacko, Vice-Rector of AFAD and participant in the school visits;
- Kseniia Rozhak-Lytvynenko, art historian, lecturer, and project coordinator for Ukrainian schools at AFAD’s International Office;
- Soňa Maletz, film director.
The discussion will be moderated by Barbora Komarová.
