Meeting of Slovak vice-rectors at the AFAD
On April 16, 2024, a meeting of vice-rectors for international relations, as well as other organizations active in the field of education and international cooperation, took place on the grounds of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.
The meeting was attended live or online by representatives from more than 30 Slovak universities and other organizations, such as Saia, SAAIC, or the Fulbright Commission. At the same time, the chief state adviser of the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth, Vladimír Bilohuščin, also attended the meeting.
In addition to the sharing of current information from each of present universities, the meeting was devoted to the topic of building support and advisory capacities and services for foreign students, as well as expected or already implemented changes (this topic stems from the setting of goals and activities in the VS Internationalization Strategy until 2030 and is also taken into account in the Long-Term Plan MŠVVS for the field of higher education 2023 – 2028.
