Annotation

The exhibition presents the results of student activities that were created during workshops in the Morawa Palace near Strzegom. The palace is associated with a legend, a story about the disappearance of the painting "Portrait of a Young Man" by Raphael. This mystery remains unsolved to this day and has become the subject of many studies and investigations. The theme of disappearance became a widely understood point of reference in the works of the participants of the meeting.

Disappearance can have different contexts. It has pace and premise – it has a dose of process and time. Disappearance hides many unknowns, such as a change of location or owner. A disappearance can be suspicious, sudden, unexpected, mysterious and difficult to explain. Finding what has disappeared is a reappearance, but this event changes our attitude towards the person or thing found, as well as the places or memories found...
