Annotation:

VŠVU & FUD present a joint project – HĽADANIE ŠŤASTIA / HLEDÁNÍ ŠTĚSTÍ / LOOKING FOR HAPPINESS – focused on exploring the intersections in the work of the young generation of fashion and textile designers from the two schools, as well as the generational overlaps in the work of their teachers. It is about seeking cooperation, dialogue, happiness, and the quest for one's authentic self, expressed through their creations.

Subthemes of the individual days of the installation:

• HAPPINESS / CARE CULTURE — wellbeing and empathetic design
• TRADITIONS / CRAFTS / ROOTS — local craftsmanship, heritage
• EXPERIMENT / VIRTUAL REALITY — virtual garments, metaverse
• IDENTITY / INDIVIDUALITY — diversity, non-binary design
• SUSTAINABILITY / UPCYCLING — personalization, bonding
