Theater Photography Biennial 2022
We would like to cordially invite you to the opening ceremony of the 5th Biennale of Theater Photography, which will take place on October 18, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in the premises of the Court of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, where awards will be presented to the winners of this year in the categories - Grand Prix main prize (2nd and 3rd place) and Student Prize.

The Theater Photography Biennial is an event that has been organized by the Theater Institute since 2010.
In recent years, theater photography has developed into a distinctive artistic genre, which in itself speaks volumes about the world of theater. The competition project is open to all professional photographers working in Slovakia, who in their work reflect Slovak theater in all its shapes and forms. A special section consists of student theater photography, realized in cooperation with the Department of Photography and New Media of the Academy of Fine Art and Design in Bratislava, which is intended for students of conservatories, secondary schools and universities.
