Thread Drawings

An exploration of Vlasta Žáková’s work will reveal her emotionally charged experience of reality. Her unique way of representation, where instead of a brush she uses a small needle or sewing machine, stitches pieces of fabric into expressive scenes with colorful thread strokes. In addition to themes depicting intimate personal experiences, she will present imaginary landscapes, soft sculptures, and collaborations with other artists.
