In the work of Dávid Čárský, the monochrome abstract painting is an iconic theme. For several years, he has had a smooth dialogue with the principles of modernist abstraction. It follows the consistent concept of color reduction and its composition into simple geometric forms. Surprisingly, he found freedom in this strict concentration, as evidenced by each new painting cycle. In recent, the painting has turned into a painting object, in which the "corporeality" of painting becomes one of its defining formal qualities.
