Annotation:
he exhibition brings together five leading figures in Slovak design and art in a unique installation tailored specifically for the DOX by Qubus space.
Sculptor Nina A. Šošková, along with two artistic duos, ILLOLA and Ové Pictures, will present their latest works, featuring glass, porcelain, and paper objects. These pieces, straddling the line between art and design, share themes of fragility, lightness, and reflections on both personal topics and societal phenomena.
The exhibited works offer a small glimpse into their artistic creations, providing insightful commentary on the personal themes of the artists as well as broader social issues. The pieces balance between freeform art, art design, and applied arts, all characterized by a sense of lightness in both the creative process and the objects themselves. All five artists demonstrate mastery over their techniques and materials, with the resulting works reflecting the creative process and experimentation. They serve as metaphors for the search for perfect form and expression.
