''Candy Crush Saga meets Mortal Kombat'' is not a beginning of a joke, but it makes us clear that we will witness the merging of the aesthetically and ideologically different features of the well-known computer games, which interplay will be orchestrated by Ľubica Mildeová in a specific setting of the Nova Gallery."
Ľubica Mildeová (1986, Banská Bystrica)
graduated from the Department of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, but she primarily works in visual arts. She took part in doctoral exchanges at the FAVU in Brno and at the University of Fine Arts in Belgrade. Selected group and solo shows: Possessive Excessive (September 2024, Pragovka, Prague) Slovak Venice (May 2024, Chateau Moravany nad Váhom), Self-Design: Chapter II – Once Upon a Time... (2022, DUUL, Ústí nad Labem), Youth Biennial ’21 (2021, Belgrade City Museum), III. Triennial of Portrait (2021, Gallery of P. M. Bohúň, Liptovský Mikuláš), Dreamland (2020, A7 Gallery, Banská Bystrica), Self-Design (2019, Medium Gallery, Bratislava).
The realisation of the projects was financially supported in the form of stipend using public funding by Slovak Arts Council.
