Kristína Mičová: Distant Solids

Exhibition project Distant Solids is focused on the phenomenon of experiencing the ladscape, perception of various places. After the collective pandemic experience the artist felt a certain intensification/ deepening. This state is covering us with its lethargic mist and with the feeling of idleness. We are deeper in something that we feel with a gret intensity, as flowing water that slowly surrounds our bodies. We are deeper in ourselves. Does this state distort our perception of time? Does it make it slower? If it does, what comes next? Will it accelarate to catch up with the 'universal' time? The artists reflects on the phenomenon of time flowing and being in one place. Her works point to different degrees of sensitivity towards space and the world around us.
