Annotation:
Graphics as a manual printing method is an art form that in our local environment constantly draws from and simultaneously loses its deep tradition and legacy of many personalities. These conditions, on the one hand, provide a background and experience for many artists, schools, and workshops, but on the other hand, everything that follows them seems to be surrounded by a transparent yet hard-to-penetrate bubble, existing separately from the contemporary exhibition scene responding to trends and social events. This ahistorical aura acts as a filter that communicates with a specific audience but is also a mystery, shrouding work processes known only to a small circle of insiders. Czech graphics, in its "nerdiness," is autonomous, content, and does not even need the rapidly changing contemporary art scene. But what if, after years of searching for new approaches in the most diverse waters of visual culture and traditional crafts, the contemporary scene actually needs graphics?

The project is carried out with the support of the City of Prague and the State Culture Fund of the Czech Republic.
