About the event
In April of this year, the Old Kokava School really came alive with international glass art and a lot of lectures and presentations. From 8 to 13 April 2024, the first International Student Glass Symposium NOVOHRAD 2024 took place in the R GLASS Katarinska Huta and Old Kokava School. The symposium was attended by six glass schools from six countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine and Romania) – a total of 12 students and eight teachers. The organizers of the project were Studio of Glass at the AFAD and the Museum of Glass and Bijoux in Jablonec nad Nisou.
