Annotation
Gréta Mária Srnová's exhibition Wrong Lines is a meditation on identity, loneliness and transformation. The works on display were created during her residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. Through a series of drawings, the artist offers a haunting exploration of her journey of losing and rediscovering herself, navigating the space between her past, her present and her yet-to-be-written future.
Presented as an interconnected body of work, the drawings form a visual and thematic dialogue as an open and poetic exploration of identity, time and space. The artist invites the audience to reflect on their own lines, wrong or different, and the ways in which they navigate within the landscape of the lines of their own lives.
