Ephemeral monument of Zuzana Petreje - Women in the SNP

We cordially invite you to the second ephemeral monument, which was created as part of the Women in the SNP project. In her project Women in the SNP, Erika Mészárosová deals with a topic that has long been neglected, especially in terms of historical research, artistic creation and reflection.

In 2021, the project focused on the story of Zuzana Petreje, who at that time acted as a partisan liaison of the High Tatras. Based on a personal meeting, where Erika Mészáros recorded her experiences in detail in the form of oral history and, after consulting with other experts, she transformed a specific part of her life into an ephemeral memorial of Mrs. Zuzana Petreje.

You can experience it during October 23, 2021 in the form of an individual walk from Liptovská Kokava to the banks of the river Belá in Pribylina.

You will have the opportunity to go through the story of Mrs. Petreje, in the documentation of which Zuzana Pustaiová and Ján Solčáni also participated together with Erika Mészárosová.

We are looking forward to your participation and do not forget to watch the symbol of Women in the SNP during the walk.
