Annotation

Artists Soňa Kabaňová and Beáta Gerbocová present their work in a joint project titled Midnight Garden.

They have created a space defined by the mysterious, unique, and fleeting impression of midnight magic. Rather than relying on traditional midnight rituals, they offer an invitation to enter the realm of nocturnal mystery. Anyone who steps into this garden, whether in reality or in their mind, carries with them a piece of the night's mystique, a breath of eternity, and a beauty that transcends the boundaries of time.

Jewelry artist Soňa Kabaňová exhibits pieces whose forms are inspired by the rich shapes and structures found in botany. She is fascinated by the delicate transformation of water into ice, which can capture a moment of reality within itself.

Beáta Gerbocová showcases textile tapestries and wax objects. Her work combines the principle of narrative development—sometimes imaginary, unfolding within the realm of associative fantasy, other times referencing personal stories and her own experiences.
