Barbora Benková: "Bovidae, Bovinae, Bos"
The ever-present fear of the unknown has numbed us as a society. The author explores with help of phenomenology, existentialism, cultural anthropology, etc. the deeper nature of apathy, social anxiety, suppression of feelings or lack of empathy through the topic of livestock breeding.
Ivana Mojšová: "I don´t want to harm you"
The presented works are a continuation of my reflections about the image, composition, sujet and also react to my previous paintings that are mapping power relations, the relationship between the hunter and the hunted. Through them I capture a certain desire for perfection, introspection or withdrawal, disagreement. The bearers of the plot are mainly female characters. They are winning, are tempted, apathetic, inactive.
