The publication presents the clothing culture in Slovakia in the years 1918 – 1939. Against the background of the history of individual companies (Tausky and sons, Christa Nase, Buxbaum – Blau & Weinberger, Dedeo and Löwy, Karol Zsákovits, Július Rosenzweig, S. Braun, Schön, M. Neumann / Moravia, Nehera, Rolný, Sbor, Prvodev, Slovenka, Weiss & Fürst, Halmoš, Detva, Lipa) is presented clothing production as well as means of corporate media - fashion drawing, fashion poster, advertisement, etc. An important source of information about local fashion is contemporary photography and reflection through fashion reports in periodicals. The work is also devoted to the topic of fashion drawing - the pedagogical methods of the Bratislava School of Arts and Crafts and the work of several clothing or graphic designers and draftsmen (Otýlia Ležovičová, Magda Radványi, Kata Löwinger, Emília Poláčková, Alžbeta Güntherová-Mayerová).
