Jakub Sojka at Czech Design Week
Designer and student at the Glass Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design Bratislava, Jakub Sojka, navigates the boundary between design and fine art with his work, using glass and metal as his primary materials.
At Mánes, he presents jewelry boxes from the Aurora brand, whose colors are inspired by the fascinating light and hues of the Northern Lights. Each jewelry box is a unique piece of precise handmade work, combining glass and metal. For these jewelry boxes, a collection of minimalist jewelry by designer Klára Valušková has also been created.
Jakub Sojka’s products and booth at Czech Design Week were created as a semester project on the theme: FOR SALE.
