Annotation
The exhibition of bachelor’s and master’s theses by students of the Glass studio presents a wide range of diverse approaches to contemporary glass as a medium of artistic expression and creation. Visitors can expect an intimate and profound self-reflection expressed through an original object combining glass and textile by Natalie Lehnertová, where her personal experiences and inner feelings transform into a powerful artistic metaphor. Zuzana Omelchenko combines traditional sandblasting techniques with cutting-edge 3D printing, exploring the boundaries between modern technologies and personal identity, drawing inspiration from automatic drawing and the subconscious. Jakub Sojka presents kinetic glass objects that respond to the viewer’s touch while producing a sound component, offering a unique sensory and interactive artistic experience. Anna Zbořilová merges painting and glass in space, creating a dynamic and mutable installation where the viewer’s movement and interaction make them an active participant in the continuously evolving dialogue between media, space, and personal perception. The entire exhibition offers a comprehensive exploration of themes such as fragility, movement, identity, and space across various levels and contexts of contemporary artistic expression.
