AFAD Masterclass: Lecture Blexbolex

Within the AFAD Masterclass program, the AFAD invites you public, as well as our students to a lecture by the French illustrator and author of comic books Blexbolex, real name Bernard Granger. The lecture will be held on Tuesday, December 5, at the Lumière Cinema in SNG.

Blexbolex (Bernard Granger)

Blexbolex, whose real name is Bernard Granger, is an illustrator and author of comic books. He studied at the École des Beaux Arts in Angouleme, lives and works in Paris, Berlin and Leipzig. In his work, which is inspired by interwar design, he combines old printing methods with new forms and techniques. In this way, he creates a unique and characteristic style, which he translated into many books for children and adults. In 2009, the People's Album was awarded the Most Beautiful Book in the World award at the Leipzig Fair. In 2010, his author's book Seasons won the German Booksellers Award.
