Evening Live Model Drawing Courses for public – Autumn 2026
The Division of Drawing at AFAD invites you to an autumn evening course in drawing from a live model. Ten sessions led by Emőke Vargová are open to beginners, advanced artists, and applicants to art programmes.

When?
- 13 October – 22 December 2026
- 10 weekly evening sessions, each lasting 3 teaching hours
- Tuesday or Wednesday; the exact day will be agreed by the majority of participants
About the course
The course focuses on the study drawing of a live model and the artistic treatment of the human figure. Participants will develop spatial perception, proportion, anatomy, line and shading through drawing techniques.
The course is led by experienced AFAD teacher Emőke Vargová, with individual guidance adapted to each participant’s current skills and needs. It is suitable for applicants to art programmes, advanced artists and beginners.
- The course will open with a minimum of 7 participants.
- It is possible to join after the course has started.

Full course: €380 incl. VAT (30 hours)
Single 3-hour session: €38
The fee includes 30 teaching hours with an AFAD teacher, the live model’s fee, basic art materials and studio operating costs.
