Lecture on natural textile dyeing
Natural dyeing of textiles has recently experienced a renaissance. However, we encounter the fact that the idea of the whole process is often simplified, and the resulting colors are not what we imagined. If we master the rules and procedures that are closely related to this technique, we can achieve interesting results.

Annotation
Accept an invitation to a lecture with Ingrid Ondrejičková, who will guide you through the wonderful path of natural dyeing. You will learn how dyeing was done in the past, which plants are best suited for dyeing, and you will see how the whole process takes place from the beginning to the final result.
In the second part of the event, AFAD student Lenka Vallová will present her bachelor fashion collection PROTOPIA, which was created using linen and natural dyeing. It will reveal the entire process from designing the collection, choosing the material to the actual dyeing. During the lecture, the PROTOPIA clothing collection will be exhibited in the premises of the ÚĽUV Design Studio.
The event is an accompanying activity of the exhibition Ľan/Lab, which is installed in the Design studio of the University of Warsaw until September 20, 2024.
