Rotary Club Bratislava in cooperation with the Department of Printmaking and Other Media of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design awards a one-time scholarship of € 500 for a student of free graphics at the Department of Printmaking and Other Media AFAD and also allows the winner to exhibit scholarships in the Nedbalky Gallery. The year 2021 was won by Mária Sládečková. You will find the works of this talented artist in the café.
Saturejka (Mária Sládečková, * 1993) is a graphic artist and illustrator, a last-year student of the Studio of Free and Color Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava and a bachelor's degree in Art History at Comenius University in Bratislava. In her work, she focuses on traditional and digital graphics, and her work is dominated by humor and sarcasm. She is the author of several author's books and the holder of the award The Most Beautiful Book of Slovakia 2018 for the book "Zasa ty ?". At present, she focuses mainly on a series of linocut puns and digital illustrations.
