We are celebrating 75 years of the AFAD
This year the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava marks the 75th anniversary of its foundation!
Although we live in these difficult times for democracy and culture, we should remember the important milestones of our institutions - what they have achieved, where they have reached, but also how we envision their future direction.
In the new academic year, which starts this autumn, we are preparing various (not only academic) activities, as well as different reminders of the history and visions for the future for our school, the largest and oldest institution of art education in Slovakia.
Students and staff of the AFAD, as well as the public, can soon look forward to films, podcasts, lectures and a new publication that will present the environment of our school, as well as how we perceive the school and how we envision it for the future.
