Jury comment

"From this graduate's work, you can feel enthusiasm for the chosen topic, which he supported with an interesting and inventive form of processing. In the introduction, he orients himself in the history of comprehensing Type and Typology in architecture, and to the generally accepted theories, he adds his own theoretical part at the end, based on the duality of WHAT is architecture and WHAT it wants or it should be. From it, he derives his own typology, which he calls NEW.

In the search for answers, he tries to avoid the "boxes" of previous theories based dominantly on the search for a balance between form and function and enriches them with other, often philosophical, levels of interpretation of creative processes. The authors' own findings and formulations from the theoretical part of the work are applied in the practical part to the model situation of the design of the school institution.

The work is conducted and graded in such a way as to absorb observers, as it requires considerable concentration from them. In the end, however, it is not possible to eliminate the feeling that the path has surpassed the goal, which the author himself admits by accepting the openness and infinitude of the creative process with his "own" method, without pronouncing definitives, which, however, real architecture will require at some point. But where else, if not on academic grounds, is it possible to accept the journey as a goal."
