Till 07/11: Open Call: ARCHORA Conference on Architecture
We warmly invite all interested participants to take part in the ARCHŌRA professional conference, organized by the Department of Theory and History of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.
Conference
The conference represents the first edition of an initiative aimed at creating an intergenerational professional periodic platform, which will enable the connection of individual departments and faculties focused on architectural creation and its reflection, while also linking the academic environment and practice.
Date and Venue:
- The conference will take place on October 9–10, 2025, in Bratislava.
The conference will be divided into four thematic panels:

i. Architectural projects and programs

ii. Reflections on architectural theory

iii. Challenges and visions of architectural education

iv. The position of architecture within culture and among the arts
Who can apply?
- Students at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels,
- University teachers and lecturers,
- Practicing architects and artists of all genders.

The conference is organized in collaboration with the Department of Architectural Creation at AFAD, the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Arts TUKE, and the civic association Ebura turo.
