Until 15 September: Open Call: ARCHŌRA 2.0 Conference
We warmly invite all interested participants to take part in the professional conference ARCHŌRA 2.0, which will take place on 12–13 November 2026 in Košice.
Conference
ARCHŌRA 2.0 is the second edition of an initiative aimed at creating an intergenerational periodic professional platform connecting departments and faculties focused on architectural practice and its reflection, while also linking academia and professional practice.

- The conference will take place on 12–13 November 2026 in Košice.
The conference focuses on four thematic areas:

projects and programmes of architecture

reflections on architectural theory
-
challenges and visions of architectural education
-
the position of architecture within culture and among the arts
Who can apply?
The open call is open to bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral students, people working professionally at universities, architectural studios and research institutions, and artists working in different media whose practice relates to architecture. Applications may be submitted individually or by an author collective.

Two separate applications are open for ARCHŌRA 2.0:
This year, the conference also introduces the experimental exploration format, shifting the focus from a traditional lecture to direct experience, participation and collective inquiry.

ARCHŌRA 2.0 is organised in cooperation with the Department of Theory and History of Art and the Department of Architecture at AFAD, the civic association ebura turo, the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Arts TUKE, and the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Arts and Architecture TUL.
The conference programme is supported from public funds by the Slovak Arts Council. The explorations are financially supported by the Tatra banka Foundation.
