About the exhibition

The Slovak Design Center and the agro-complex NÁRODNÉ VÝSTAVISKO invite you to a tour of student projects at the Design Forum this year. The exhibition will present designer works by students from several universities, curated by Wanda Borysko. The theme of the 25th edition is everyday life, which offers an interesting perspective on everyday life. In addition to attractive school presentations, you can also look forward to the exceptional Designum magazine, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year!

As a rule, students listen to the rhythm of society's life and react energetically to its movements. To look at the world through their eyes means to have a fresh perspective. As the world tries to bridge polarized attitudes, overcome social and environmental obstacles, young people often pay more attention to what is well known to everyone - the everyday.

The exhibition invites us to penetrate deeper into the various positions of the concept of everyday life. The term covers aspects of life that we consider common, mundane or even banal. It has not only a cognitive meaning, but also carries an emotional content, represents something easily predictable and at the same time gives the impression of known safety.
