Guided tour through the exhibition Trembling Edges of Katarína Poliačiková
We cordially invite you to a guided tour of the exhibition Trembling Edges with Katarína Poliačiková and curator Zuzana Jakalová. The guided tour will loosely follow the lecture of the caver Gabriel Lešinský, with whom Katarína collaborates, which will start at 18:00 - that is why we are starting it at the same time.
MEDIUM gallery, Hviezdoslavovo sq. 18, Bratislava
Katarína Poliačiková's exhibition 'Trembling Edges' is about the transformations of matter, its disappearance and reappearance. It is about the metamorphoses of stories, their shifting tempos, the conceivable and speculative languages in which they can be told, the perspectives that normally flow beneath their surface. It speaks of a temporality that transcends human experience. About the rhythms of the river and the sea bed, about the coexistence of water and the entities it carries, nourishes, obliterates with its pulsations. It is about the permeable boundaries between the familiar and the unknown, the large and the small, the known and the unknowable. It is a more-than-human amalgam of masses, places, bodies, relationships, feelings and experiences, touching with trembling edges.
You can visit the exhibition Trembling Edges until 28.5.
