The new Department of Digital Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava opens up the creative processes of digital technologies and, in its plurality, enables the exploration of the digital medium and its impact on society and the individual. At the exhibition, we present the works of the first graduates of the program's bachelor's degree, respectively the results of their four-year experimentation with new artistic and technological tools. Under the mission of digital arts, we envisioned a reflection of digital creative processes and the tools themselves, research into the current state of theory, the search for new possible applications, or a stimulus for the creation of new jobs. The last four years, and at the same time the first for us, were a great adventure in which our plans were fulfilled, and at the same time a surprise that our students prepared for us. In the current exhibition, we present works that offer new types of knowledge using experiences in the form of classic animation, interactive projection, virtual reality, or ask important ethical questions regarding the (re)presentation of reality and artificial intelligence.

The exhibited artists are Emma Zahradníková with her interactive installation Dancing with Myself, Dancing with My Cells, Adela Lujza Lučeninčová with the project Building Comfort: Safe Space in Virtual Reality, Natália Zajačiková with the work Process of artistic creation of promptography, based on the reflection of the processes of artificial intelligence and Leonard Lofaj with an animated video clip for his own music composition.
