About the Festival

The last weekend of May will mark the thirteenth edition of the Křehký Mikulov collectors’ design festival, organized by the Regional Museum in Mikulov and the Křehký brand. The castle grounds, as well as other exhibition venues throughout Mikulov, will showcase new works by dozens of artists and designers from the Czech Republic and abroad. The festival will delight collectors and fans of porcelain, glass, and applied arts—and this year, for the first time, also hand-woven tapestries. The program will also feature presentations of student studios and a rich accompanying program including creative workshops with designers, presentations, discussions, and activities for the whole family such as concerts, a pétanque tournament, and a Sunday hike with a picnic on the Holy Hill. The Křehký Mikulov Festival takes place from May 23 to 25, 2025, and both the program and exhibitions are free and open to the public. Some exhibitions at Mikulov Castle, the House of the Wild Man, and the Stucco Hall will remain open until June 1, 2025.
