The exhibition of diploma works by Pavlína Árendášová and Viktória Bakušová, two students of the Department of Textile Art at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, reflects on movement as part of memories, the passage of time and different stages of life. Its continuity is also symbolically expressed through the principal medium – yarn. Although one artist leans towards design and the other towards fine art, both use their work to tell a story of movement, in which there is room to pause even as time continues to pass. The exhibition is closely connected with the philosophy of the ÚĽUV Design Studio: to highlight innovative approaches to craft tradition. From 4 June to 31 July 2026, you can take a moment to pause in time and experience art and design as interconnected vessels.
