The exhibition Some man's land
will present a selection from the works of Matej Maturkanič and Michal Golák, which are dedicated to places and spaces that usually remain on the periphery of the interest of passers-by.
Maturkanič's paintings thematize the urban environment and its constantly changing and rewritten structures. Golák's sculptures, on the other hand, refer in several ways to the post-industrial periphery, which he explores during his frequent wanderings. Both authors are united by the search for non-traditional points of view on the city and its outskirts, which are, after all, sides of the same coin.
