Lecture by Spanish designer Curro Claret at Slovak Design Center

The Slovak Design Center and Marián Laššák invite you to a lecture by Spanish designer Curro Claret.

Designing for what? For whom? With whom?

Designing at the margins. Designing for those who have been left aside, for those without access, or for those who are less visible.

The lecture will present an overview of projects in which Curro Claret has been involved in these contexts. The projects will be presented critically, with the aim of encouraging open discussion and raising questions.

Do they really do what they appear to do? Do they achieve anything? Have they managed to make an impact?

The photograph used in the banner comes from a workshop for residents of Valencia affected by the DANA floods, focused on creating furniture using the T300 element. The workshop was organised in 2025 by a group of students from CEU UCH University in Valencia.
