The new, thematic issue of the Notebook traces the possibilities and forms of curatorial research. The six texts map the possibilities of thinking about curating, emphasizing it as a form of knowledge, as an act of care, and as a non-disciplinary methodology that transcends disciplinary boundaries.
The collective monograph Movement Behind the Images
The collective monograph Movement Behind the Images charts the transformations of gallery institutions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia over the last thirty years. Contributions from eleven authors analyse new curatorial approaches, inclusive strategies and the revision of art historical narratives. The editors of this book are Daniel Grúň and Ján Kralovič, lecturers in Theory and History of Art at the AFAD.
