The Július Koller Society opens its new space dedicated to contemporary art, critical culture and research at the Nová Cvernovka cultural center. The first exhibition, currently unavailable, was prepared by the Austrian artist Johannes Porsch and focuses on the topic of socializing archives. Porsch looks at the complex relationship between the archive and society from the perspective of the current conditions of semi-capitalism. In his work he examines the specifics of the visual industry and symbolic economies. The Július Koller Society is a non-profit association, which was founded in 2008 in Bratislava. The aim and subject of the association is the promotion of works, artistic and cultural achievements of Július Koller, the strengthening of cooperation in the field of contemporary art and the enrichment of domestic and international cultural dialogue.
