"Professors Daniel Balabán and Ivan Csudai have established themselves on the joint art scene since the end of the 1980s. Today, these respected authors and educators communicate using their distinctive visual languages. Daniel Balabán is an author who paints figures to the point of mutual relation. He can very to naturally implement the content, or rather the story, between the depicted characters. He creates a complex environment in which he subsequently plays out a plot, which often contains exaggeration, symbols and references to intangible worlds. In contrast, Ivan Csudai works with an almost opposite visual strategy. His form is based on certain graphic regularities. His pictorial plans are clearly given and phased. Nevertheless, Csudai proceeds with ease and certainty. As for the content side of his paintings, the questions he constantly deals with are very similar to those of Daniel Balabán. Both authors seek a certain certainty in their immediate and immediate surroundings.Through symbols they often relate to his own past. While we can say with a certain amount of exaggeration that they both paint the same thing, the visual form of her paintings is not the same."
